Camisole, Cami, Camisoles

A Camisole, or cami, is a short loose fitting sleeveless top that is often worn as lingerie.  Camisoles are shorter than chemises and normally extend to the waist, while some sexy camisoles are cropped to expose the midriff.  Camisoles tend to be lightweight and are typically used to provide an additional layer under thin see-through tops.  However, following recent fashion trends in Europe and the US, many women wear camisoles as outerwear.
