The term Bustier is based on the French word for bust and is a sexy form-fitting type of lingerie that helps give a fuller appearance to the breasts.  Unlike the corset, the bustier has flexible boning and has cups like a bra.  Bustiers push up on the bust by tightening against the upper midriff and forcing the breasts up, while gently shaping the waist, helping to create a sexy overall figure.
